A Drugstore Beauty Brand Teamed Up With a Kardashian-Loved Designer
This collaboration is going to be epic.
This past May, Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing sent fans into a tizzy when he revealed several teases of an upcoming L'Oréal Paris x Balmain lipstick collab. Since the big reveal, we have yet to hear more about this couture makeup fusion—until now.
L'Oréal Paris has finally given us closer look into this highly anticipated collab. And so far, it looks like everything we expected and more.
In an Instagram photo, L'Oréal revealed a first close-up look at one of the stunning shades from the collection. It's called "Confidence," and let’s just say we’re already in love. Confidence is a glimmering shade of rose-gold, and we can't wait to dab it on for a glowing beauty lewk.
L'Oréal also shared a sneak peak at the line’s campaign, which will feature pouty lipped Victoria’s Secret Angel Doutzen Kroes.
While the the brand has only revealed a close-up of one of the lipstick shades, the entire collection will include 12 matte shades ranging from bright pinks to rich, vampy hues. Best of all, the collection will be launching in September—just in time to kick off the fall season.
An exact price on the lipsticks hasn't been revealed yet. However, L'Oréal lipsticks usually retail for about $10 at local drugstores. That's certainly an affordable way to join the Balmain army. ICYMI: other members of this glitzy inner circle include Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian West.
