Kendall Jenner Sleeps in a Dangerous-Sounding Accessory
Ouch!
If we had to describe Kendall Jenner’s model-off-duty style, the words that first come to mind are sporty (she's an Adidas ambassador for a reason) and edgy (remember those gravity-defying cutoff jeans?) But for this weekend's Veuve Clicquot’s Polo Classic, Kendall picked out a dress that is undeniably sweet.
How adorable and garden-party appropriate is is this floral, off-the-shoulder Dolce & Gabbana mini-dress? “My stylist pulled this for me, and I tried it on and was like, this is kind of perfect for a polo match," Kendall told a Vogue reporter at the event. Her little white boots, giant hoop earrings, and structured bag that almost give it a '60s look.
Hair stylist Jen Atkin used Ouai Soft Mousse and Christophe Robin Volume Mist to prep Kendall’s hair for a half-up style, with Ouai Rose Hair Oil to tame flyaways and Ouai Medium Hair Spray for hold. ;
But don't think Kendall's lost her edge. She added a punky accessory: a safety pin earring in her right ear. Apparently, it's a never-take-off piece of jewelry for Kendall — similar to her sister Kylie's Cartier bracelet.
“I don’t even know who makes it, which is awful, but I wear it everyday," Kendall told Vogue, explaining her safety pin earring. "It’s so easy to sleep in. It’s one of those things you would see and think, that’s annoying to sleep in, but it’s not. I love it." Living dangerously!
This isn't the only accessory Kendall's been obsessed with this summer. She keeps wearing designer fanny packs. In the past week, she wore them three days in a row, including a Chanel belt bag and this romper with a Louis Vuitton fanny pack outfit. Between this and Gucci's fanny pack-intensive 2018 Cruise collection, maybe we should be browsing Tradesy's vintage fanny pack selection (words we never thought we'd type).
Kendall's edgy way with the fanny pack was helped along by her new stylist, Marni Senofonte. We can't wait to see what else the model makes happen this summer.
