When Kate Hudson needs to cut her hair for a role, she really commits. The actress and fitness mogul behind activewear line Fabletics shaved off her trademark long blonde mane completely to get in character for the movie Sister.
That's brave! One sweet side effect of Kate's buzzcut is that she turns out to have the same exact hair as her 13-year-old son, Ryder Robinson. Ryder posed with his mom for an Instagram pic, and now that they have the same haircut, you can really see the resemblence between Kate and Ryder. Especially in their profiles.
Kate looks gorgeous, long hair or no hair. She first revealed her dramatic haircut over the summer, but since then, she's kept her buzzcut under the radar with either wigs and hats or some creative cropping on Instagram. Maybe she's trying not to spoil the movie: here's a little still of her character that she posted in July. Sister is written and directed by the singer Sia and will also star Maddy Ziegler.
