Good Luck Girl! Chrissy Teigen Set To Do Another Round Of IVF For Baby Number 2
The model mom has been open about her fertility struggles.
How refreshing is Chrissy Teigen? For women with fertility struggles everywhere, she has been a source of honestly and humor, and now she's opening up once again about her hopes to expand her family.
The subject of baby number two came up when Chrissy talked about cutting way back on drinking in order to prepare for a second round of IVF (she completed IVF in orde rto conceive baby Luna, now 16-months.)
Speaking to Cosmopolitan, Chrissy revealed that her family has been vacationing a bit more than usual this summer, because they want to get it out of the way in order to prepare for another go at having a baby.
"A lot of stuff's about to come," she said. "We're going to try to have a child. This is for us to try to get in the zone of 'let's travel, let's be away together, let's see our closest friends,' and then we're going to have to do something super hard, which is the IVF process, all over again."
She told Self of trying for baby number one:
"The big question was why this wasn’t working for us when I was young and he was healthy," "I thought, people get pregnant by accident all the time! How does this happen?
"Emotionally, it could be really hard," she added. "When you have these high-highs and low-lows, and you’re, like, cuckoo pants. You don't want to get your hopes up, but of course, you do," she explained.
