Oh, crop top. For as long as we can remember, we’ve had a love/hate relationship with this midriff-baring shirt. But this trend has certainly come a long way from its baby tank and tube tops styles of the '90s.

Today, the crop top comes in a plethora of styles including cute button ups, off the shoulder styles, flowy options and some even with chic bell sleeves. Pair a statement sleeve crop top with matching bottoms and heels like Jennifer Lopez for a chic date night ensemble, or opt for a t-shirt crop top with shorts and sneakers for a more casual look. And if the thought of showing your stomach brings you great discomfort (we hear you!), there are plenty of options that won’t bare too much skin or pinch in the wrong places, and, great news, they are just as cute as their skimpier counterparts.
