Oprah Lets Us Inside Her Entire Emmys Glam Journey and the Results are Spectacular

When it comes to red carpet events, celebrities tend go all out with their looks. However, what we don't always see are the steps it takes to get them there.

For the 2017 Emmy Awards, Oprah Winfrey enlisted an expert glam squad to get ready for the evening. And she even shared each step of her preparation with those of us at home on Instagram. So how does one of the most fabulous and powerful women in the world get ready for an evening out? You know you're interested. 

First stop: eyebrows. Oprah begin her beauty process by getting her brows groomed Saturday by none other than the brow queen herself, Anastasia Soare, founder of Anastasia Beverly Hills. We're seriously jealous.

Next stop: hair. Celebrity hair artist Nicole Mangrum gives Oprah's black strands a quick color touch-up hours before the award show. 

That's just the beginning. After getting her hair colored, Oprah then goes on to get a manicure and pedicure by Footnanny CEO Gloria L. Williams. "It's a process ya'll," she writes. 

Now, on to the good stuff. Oprah goes on to get her face beat by celebrity makeup artist Derrick Rutledge while Mangrum continues to style her hair.

At last, after a two-day journey, Oprah is all set to hit the Emmy Awards looking beyond posh. Just take at look at her black and white Elizabeth Kennedy tux.
