You know what fragrances mean to me? Accessible haute couture. I might not be able to afford a gown or handbag, but Valentino can be mine in the form of beautiful scent housed in a gorgeous bottle—right there on my bathroom shelf. And the same goes for Lanvin, Miu Miu, and more—for many women, these luxury designers are normally lightyears beyond our spending caps when it comes to their womenswear, but thankfully all of us can experience the thrill of the brand via their eau de toilettes.

This holiday, consider gifting these new fragrances to the women on your list, as they’re sure to thrill at the sight of the gorgeous bottles alone. As I’ve said before, the best gift to give is one that the recipient wouldn’t splurge on for herself, and perfumes tend to fall in that category.
