Brynn Whitfield Reflects on Her Friendship with Pandora Vanderpump “in a Former Life”

Plus, the RHONY cast member explains how she almost ended up on Vanderpump Rules

By Jamontae Hickman

Long before she took a bite out of the Big Apple and was sharing her life on The Real Housewives of New York City, Brynn Whitfield lived an unapologetic life in Los Angeles. During Brynn’s time on the West Coast, she was good friends with Lisa Vanderpump’s daughter, Pandora Vanderpump Sabo, and they were roommates at one point.

In their chat, Alex tells Brynn that they could’ve met years prior due to her proximity to the Vanderpump family. (Alex is an Executive producer of Vanderpump Rules.) “Oh yes! OK, yeah, I can’t believe in a former life we would’ve been together,” she says before Sezin intervenes, “Oh, the Pandora connection.”

Brynn then goes on to explain how she met Pandora through the latter's husband, Jason Sabo, who is her childhood friend. “When I got my first corporate job here in LA… [Pandora] was like, come live with me, come live with me,” she recalls. “So I lived with her, she kicked out her roommate, they gave me a Range Rover, and Lisa and Ken fed me every night. They were amazing.”

Also, during the Hot Mic podcast interview, Brynn reveals how she heard about Vanderpump Rules in its early days from Pandora’s family.  “They were interviewing for a show, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and they got on that show, and then two years later they’re like, 'Oh, we’re gonna have another show… do you want to try audition for it,'” Brynn tells Alex and Sezin.

Of course, Brynn didn't appear on the show. The reason? At the time, she told Pandora that "reality TV is trash."
