While Kristen and Carter Are at Coachella, Gibson and Bowie Are Having a Festival of Their Own
Hint: The Vanderpump Rules pups are chillin’ off leash in hills overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
Like any proper celebrity (or Bravolebrity), Vanderpump Rules’ Kristen Doute and her boyfriend, Carter, are in the California desert again this weekend to attend Coachella. But who is taking care of their pups, Gibson Nicks and Bowie Jack, you may be asking yourself?
Well, according to Kristen’s Instagram posts and stories, the pups are happily playing off leash with Kristin McMillan, an experienced dog trainer and the owner of Dog Club LA. In fact, Gibson and Bowie look just as blissed out as their parents will no doubt be all weekend at Coachella, even with nary a flower crown in sight.
Fans of Bowie and Gibson know that they were both adopted around Thankgsiving of 2016. Gibson, who is a Yorkie, came from the same litter as Kingsley, Jax and Brittany’s dog. Kristen snatched him up during a drunken Friendsgiving at Scheana’s parents’ house. And Bowie, a Cheagle (Chihuahua and Beagle mix) named after David Bowie, was adopted — and then briefly went missing! — at around the same time.
The two fur babies are happy as can be with their often hungover parents — Bowie recently had to spend some quality time with McMillan to improve his behavior, while Gibson often serves as an Emotional Support Animal for his — shall we say it? — sometimes emotionally unpredictable mom.
