SUR Now Delivers — And I Learned Something Major About Lisa Vanderpump's Lounge with My First Order
I placed my first SUR restaurant order from DoorDash in L.A., and here's the intel.
Lisa Vanderpump's SUR Restaurant & Lounge in West Hollywood just launched delivery service via DoorDash — a fact that I happily discovered this past weekend while visiting the area. The Vanderpump Rules hotspot offers an abbreviated menu of light bites from the lounge for delivery in the vicinity; if you're in Los Angeles, you can enter your zip code on the DoorDash site to see if you're within the zone. And if you are, well then... you know what to do for your Pump Rules viewing party menu! (Unless you already had your heart set on Taco Bell... )
While placing my order, which included shrimp cocktails and seared Ahi tuna served with couscous, I discovered something important — those fried goat cheese balls that Stassi Schroeder and other former and present SURvers have obsessed over in the restaurant since Season 1 are not the only goat cheese items on the menu! SUR Lounge also offers Argentinean empanadas stuffed with goat cheese and served with a side of salsa criolla, made with bell pepper, onion, garlic, tomato, oil, and vinegar.
It was time to investigate.
Sure, the new SUR delivery doesn't come with a hot SURver bringing you a Pumptini or another one of the great cocktails from this Sexy Unique Restaurant; you'll have to visit in person to have a drink and soak up the immersive Vanderpump-ian ambiance.
But these rich goat cheese empanadas could possibly be the perfect viewing-party snacks. (With or without a side of tacos.)
