Brittany Cartwright Already Has a Wedding Cake in Mind (Jax Taylor, Not So Much)

As Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright are making plans for their big day, the pieces are coming together... at least in Brittany's mind's eye. (And on her Pinterest boards.)

"I already know what I want," a visibly cheery Brittany told us last night on the red carpet for the soft opening of Tom Tom, a summer party with DailyMail.com and DailyMailTV... that happened to fall on Jax's birthday. "Well, l can tell you what I like — I don’t know if it’s what we’d get. I like the nekkid cakes with the flowers."

That raised Jax's brow. "Nekkid?" he ribbed. 

But we knew what she meant: Brittany's talking about those naked cakes, rustic-style beauties showing exposed cake with icing mainly just between the layers.

Something like this, perhaps, Brittany?

"I think those are pretty with real flowers all over them," Brittany said. 

For his part, Jax was meh: "I don’t know. It’s so far away to think about stuff like that. Cake is way down the line of stuff to get. Who needs to spend all that money? Who even eats cake anymore?"

And preparing her two special words for the big day, Brittany had only this to say: "I do!"

Even if fussy wedding cake isn't as much Jax's bag as it is his bride's, he won't be left out of the fun. He already joked that he would have a groom's cake in the form of hockey's Stanley Cup. 

Or was he actually joking?

"So, my brother-in-law just had a groom's cake. And I don’t know if I ever saw one before — but I saw it, and I’m like hey, I want a groom's cake. I didn’t even know they had stuff like that! Probably hockey related."

Brittany did him one better: "Or a big Hooters cake."

Jax mused, "Are you supposed to do that or am I supposed to get a groom's cake? How does that work?"

Brittany assured him she could arrange it. 

Looks like these two are well on their way to wedded bliss.
