Lala Kent Dyes Her Hair an Unexpected Color, Says It's Less of a "Home-Wrecking Whore Look"
The Vanderpump Rules beauty says she feels "like a different person" with this new shade.
When dyeing your hair in the summer months, most people go for something lighter and brighter. Not Lala Kent! The Vanderpump Rules SURver and Give Them Lala Beauty entrepreneur has traded in her sun-kissed blonde locks for a darker hue, which was totally unexpected but suits her quite well. She went back to her roots with a gorgeous chestnut hair color.
"I was so over being a blondie. Girl bye!" Lala explained in an Instagram Live about her hair transformation. For her new look, Lala turned to hair stylist Trace Henningsen — the very same stylist who helped take Stassi Schroeder from platinum to a darker shade of blonde in March.
"I was so nervous," Lala confessed on Instagram Live about dyeing her hair darker. "I feel like a different person," she said.
Lala shouted out her stylist Trace with a few Instagram story screenshots. This new look really draws attention to her stunning eyes (and her ever-present Give Them Lala Beauty lip gloss).
But how does it feel to become a brunette? Lala explained it on Instagram Live as only she could. "Usually when I'm blonde, I'm sweeter and the dark hair is more harsh. But I actually feel the opposite," she said. "I feel like my dark hair has made me not so much of like, the home-wrecking whore look."
