Jax Taylor Weighs in on Scheana Shay's Oh-So Controversial Move to Marina Del Rey
The Vanderpump Rules bartender throws his opinion of her new beachside pad in the mix.
Scheana Shay's move from West Hollywood to a new apartment on the waterfront in Marina Del Rey practically scandalized her friends and SUR co-workers. On the latest episode of Vanderpump Rules, many of them grumbled about driving 10 miles (which in L.A. traffic takes over an hour) to her housewarming party. They couldn't understand why she'd want to relocate to what Stassi Schroeder and Katie Maloney-Schwartz think of as a "geographically undesirable" place.
After watching the episode, Twitter user Joyce Levi sent a message to Jax Taylor, who was at the housewarming, and asked, "I know you guys didn’t like how far Scheana's apartment was, but did you at least like her apartment?"
"I don’t like compound type units, you always get lost, you have to get assigned parking," he replied. "It’s [i]mpossible to get things fixed on time. Too many chiefs [we think he means chefs?] and way over priced in my opinion, I used to live in a building like this and I hated it."
But really, if Scheana likes it, he loves it.
"That being said, her apt is very nice," he wrote.
Meanwhile, Scheana is super happy with her move. She thinks the "Westside is the best side," and shared a video of a stunning sunset as seen from her insane outdoor patio this week to show why she moved there. Stassi then took to her Instagram Stories to clarify that she actually thinks Marina Del Rey is "gorge," but was just complaining about the time it takes to get there.
"And I'm jaded, so there's that," Stassi added.
