Todd Tucker Says He’s Found His “Calling” While Sharing a Career Update
The Real Housewives of Atlanta husband has a surprising new skill, and Kandi Burruss had a priceless reaction.
Kandi Burruss' husband, Todd Tucker, is a man of many skills. The Real Housewives of Atlanta dad has opened restaurants, produced films, and worked as a production manager (more on that later). But now, the serial entrepreneur has developed a surprising new skill, which he says is his "calling." Kandi didn't hold back with her reaction.
Todd and Kandi met when he was a production manager on RHOA. In 2011, Todd jetted off to South Africa for a cast trip, and Kandi caught his eye. "I was trying to play it cool in Africa," Todd shared in a 2014 interview. But Kandi had captured his attention as he added: "I loved her smile. She seemed very humble and genuine."
The pair got married in 2014, and have partnered up on several business ventures since then. For example, the duo opened the Atlanta restaurant Old Lady Gang back in 2017, and they recently produced The Pass, which is streaming on Peacock. But based on his recent Instagram post, it looks like Todd has a new calling that's all his own.
Todd Tucker does the weather on TV
The Atlanta dad recently stopped by a local TV station for an interview. While he was there, he couldn't help but try his hand at something new. To caption a photo of himself standing in front of a greenscreen, Todd wrote: "I had to jump in to do the weather! I think I’ve found my calling! Lol!"
Kandi hopped into the comments with two emoji that showcased her thoughts on the matter: a laughing face, and some fire. But in all seriousness, Kandi took to Instagram to show some love for Todd as he checked off another accomplishment.
Showcasing the latest issue of SUAVV magazine, which has Todd on the cover, Kandi wrote: "My man, my man, my man… [Todd Tucker] is a cover man now! So proud of everything he’s accomplished & what he has coming next! Check out his interview in [SUAV Magazine]."
Todd also posted about the interview on his own feed, writing: "Thank you so much for the support!"
During the SUAVV interview, Todd teased projects that he'd like to work on in the future. Though he admitted that the restaurant industry is tough right now, he said that he does have dreams of opening a Mexican eatery someday. He also teased plans to bring back The Dungeon burlesque show. (BTW, it has since been revealed that this October the show is back for "one night only." The teaser added, "The tickets for Welcome To The Dungeon are officially on sale! Don’t miss out. October 21st it’s going down!")
