Robyn: I Was Expecting an Actual Press Conference
“Clearly Karen doesn’t know what a press conference is, just like she doesn’t know what a blog or the Washington Post and The Shaderoom are.”
BravoTV.com: What do you think about Karen driving up to Monique’s in such a nice car considering Ray’s tax issues?
Robyn Dixon: Well I guess Ms. Karen showed us! She said she was “loaded” and by the looks of her new ride, she may be right! BTW, Karen looks super hot driving that car!
BravoTV.com: Tell us about the move! Why did you decide to move, and how is your new home working out?
RD: We were starting to feel very cramped in the house that we were in. Nobody had their own personal space, which is so necessary to keep my sanity! We knew that we ultimately would not be happy if we stayed in that house for an extended period of time. Since our lease was about to be up for renewal, we decided to try to find a larger home that would give us the space we needed and the happiness that we desired. We searched and searched all over Maryland for a home that we loved to end up staying in the same neighborhood! Our new home is working out great! We are comfortable and happy and don’t plan on moving any time soon!
BravoTV.com: What did you think of the press conference (with no press) - What do you think about Karen getting so upset?
RD: I was so intrigued when Karen called me to invite me to her press conference. I was really expecting to walk into a room with a podium, microphone, cameras, and reporters with voice recorders. But clearly, Karen doesn’t know what a press conference is, just like she doesn’t know what a blog or the Washington Post and The Shaderoom are. I did appreciate that Karen wanted to have an open discussion about her tax rumors. While she doesn’t owe anyone an explanation, she understood that people were going to talk and speculate amongst themselves, so she might as well address everything so we can move on and put the tax talk behind us. Karen said she wanted to hear what we had to say and I was really hoping that we would be able to have an insightful conversation, but of course, that would have been a miracle if that actually happened. It really was only a matter of time for someone to say something that Karen didn’t like and set her off! It doesn’t take much!
BravoTV.com: What were you thinking when she brought up Michael's "ding-a–ling"?
RD: Oh, that was the highlight of the day! Not because I found joy in Michael being accused of soliciting men online, but because hearing the Grande Dame say the word "ding-a-ling" was just hilarious.
