Shannon Beador Has an Update on Her Plans to Open a Restaurant: "I Have the Menu Ready..."
The Real Housewives of Orange County entrepreneur is making major moves in the food world.
Shannon Beador has long dreamed of opening her own restaurant — a passion she's shared on The Real Housewives of Orange County. So when it comes to turning that dream into a reality, where is Shannon now? She sat down with The Feast to provide an update.
It turns out, the restaurant idea is very much alive. And in fact — Shannon's other new food pursuit has only bolstered the idea, rather than replaced it. As Shannon continues to find fast success with her line of healthy foods for QVC — Real for Real Cuisine — she'd like to parlay that momentum into the brick-and-mortar world.
"I have the menu ready to go for Real for Real Kitchen, so I’m hopeful that things will continue to go well with QVC and then hopefully incorporate the restaurant concept," she told us. "Because I think it’s a good idea: affordable, healthy food that can be delivered to you. I’m not looking for the fancy restaurant that a lot of other people have — or [a scene where people go to be seen and] go hang out."
Her concept would be different, she said: "Mine’s gonna be a very small, fast-cashz restaurant with mostly delivery so I think it’s a good idea."
And it would offer delivery, too. "The millennials apparently do like the delivery. They like to stay at home — so we’ll be ready to deliver," Shannon said. "Or you can just order and put it in your freezer."
No word yet on opening date — but, according to Shannon's latest update, the idea is very much alive and well.
