All in Good Fun
Vicki wishes the ladies would get over their fear of Cajun food and isn't bothered by the Brooks/boob incident.
Happy Valentine's Day! I hope this day is filled with love for you and your family and that LOVE is in the air all around you.
Now that I am dating a man from the "South," I thought it would be fun to throw a Cajun themed dinner party. I wanted to show the girls what it was like to eat crawfish, shrimp, oysters, and gumbo. It didn't go over too well with them, which I figured. Geesh. . .does everything have to be steamed vegetables, chicken, or fish? BORING! Looks like Brooks and I will be eating alone next time. At least I didn't have fried catfish and hushpuppies.
Peggy and Alexis' friendship -- looks like that's done. . .kaput. . .over. The fact that Peggy stood there all righteous acting like her and Micah are so perfect and Jim and Alexis aren't was rude. Everyone, including them have a "past." To talk about Jim's past when she doesn't know the truth is just plain disrespectful. I don't know why she has set out to try and humiliate Jim the way she has. The accusations that Peggy said about Jim are just wrong and childish. If he doesn't mean anything to you, then why continue to discuss it? Time to move on girl.
When Tamra asked Brooks and I to join her and Eddie to Catalina, we were all in. Brooks had never been to Catalina before and we were hoping for a drama free nice little getaway weekend.
Unfortunately, right out of the gate there was an issue. While we were on the boat headed over to the island, the guys decided to buy a round of tequila. That was their first mistake. I think once tequila shots come out, tempers and inhibitions do too. What you didn't see on tonight's episode was the conversation between Eddie and I, talking about how we are both Aries, how we love to travel, how we love a good time, and how we are passionate about our work (amongst other things). It was all in fun, and in no way were we flirting or being disrespectful to Brooks or Tamra. What you didn't hear was Tamra saying how much we were alike and how we were saying opposites attract. When Tamra took Brooks hand and put it on her breast, it took us all of guard a little but I wasn't offended. I mean. . .it's Tamra. She loves to be playful, and I didn't think it was a big deal. When I looked at Eddie's face, I knew he was upset and I thought it was best just to remain quiet and not get involved, which isn't easy for me. I felt bad and didn't want the weekend to start off on a bad note, which it looks like it was going to.
Gretchen posing nude with her pink handbag for breast cancer awareness seems a little confusing. Did anyone else feel the same? I am all about breast cancer awareness and anything for a good cause, however I just don't know if was done as tastefully as it could be. Was anyone else confused on that message?
I am so excited once again to talk about Wines by Wives. Tamra and I have launched our new wine club. Tamra and I will be choosing our favorite wine of the month, and you will have the opportunity to have it delivered to you.
