Amid Divorce, Gina Kirschenheiter Is Taking Her House Off the Market
The Real Housewives of Orange County mom says the timing isn’t right to sell.
It’s been quite a tumultuous year for The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Gina Kirschenheiter. While juggling three small children and joining the OC ’wives cast, she was also dealing with a crumbling marriage. On television! Our collective hearts broke for Gina when she tearfully admitted her troubles to Emily Simpson on last night’s episode. Marriage is HARD work, people!
As we know, Gina filed for divorce from her husband earlier this year and she then listed her Coto de Caza home for sale for $975,000 — but the reality TV newcomer is officially rethinking that move. Appearing on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen last night, Gina told Andy they aren’t selling the home anymore. “We were gonna sell the house and I was like, ‘I just don’t want to be a homeowner,’ because that’s so hard, if my dishwasher breaks like it did the other day, whatever — but it’s not a great time so we’re actually taking it off the market and we’re just going keep doing what we’re doing.”
As for whether the Long Island-native will she be staying put in the OC once her divorce is final? “Yeah, I mean … yeah,” Gina dished to Andy. Whether she’ll be staying in Coto de Caza or moving into a new abode is yet to be seen, but no news is good news for fans of this no-holds-bar newbie. Be sure to tune in to RHOC on Mondays at 9/8c.
