Shannon Beador Reveals How She Maintains Her 24-Pound Weight Loss

We've all been rooting for Shannon Beador on her fitness journey. The Real Housewives of Orange County mama has taken fans and viewers along on her journey and recently announced a major bit of success: she lost 24 pounds! (Watch the video above to hear how she did it.) And while Shannon seems super proud of her results (and rightfully so!), she has admitted that she doesn't actually enjoy the process of working out (relatable). So, what does Shannon do to make the workout process less painful?

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County on Thursdays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

For one, the Real for Real Cuisine entrepreneur recently told The Lookbook that she makes sure to take long walks rather than stepping foot on a treadmill. "I have found that I do a daily walk, and what’s so beautiful about a walk is that you go to a certain destination and you gotta get home, so you have to keep going," she said. "If I’m on a treadmill or elliptical or one of those nightmare machines, I’m just hopping right off." That's one useful bit of advice! And, there's more: Shannon just shared how she makes her calorie-burning walks even more enjoyable and this tidbit is seriously heart-warming.

On Tuesday, August 22, Shannon shared a post-workout snap on Instagram. "[Personal trainer Steven Michael] and I decided to switch it up today and walk hills and stairs with [Kristina Chatow] at the beach," she wrote in the caption. It was her hashtags that really got us though: "#easierwithfriends #tryingtobeconsistent #gettingthere," she added.

Improving your workout is as simple as investing in a good workout buddy ... we love that idea!

Way to go, Shannon!
