Emily Simpson may be new to The Real Housewives of Orange County crew, but viewers were quick to learn one thing: The California mom keeps things real. And if she has to smack down a troll or two, Emily is more than equipped to handle them. Need proof? Just watch what happened when some unkind social-media users tried give unsolicited feedback on her body. (Always a lovely phenomenon, right Carole Radziwill?)

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County on Peacock and the Bravo App.

On August 18, Emily took to Twitter with a stern message. "It’s never ok to call a woman fat, fatass, plus-size, etc," she said as a reminder to anyone who may need it.

She then upped the ante, adding: "I will take the criticism and be the voice for all the women out there that feel inadequate because they don’t fit someone’s ridiculous standard of beauty. Be strong. Be proud. Be confident. I got you." Two fist-bump emoji said it all: any criticism coming Emily's way only makes her feel stronger and more defiant.

The OC newcomer then added a collage of photos that showed her looking gorgeous, stylish, and — yes — incredibly fit. Take a look at this, and see if you can resist sending Emily a mental fist-bump right back.
