Sonja Morgan: I Hate a Liar

After seeing the dry cleaner party that went off the rails bad from soup to nuts again during the reunion, I really have to ask once again: Dorinda was protecting me from what in the Berkshires? The same drama I have been dealing with since way before her? She was not protecting me. She was dividing me from my group. She should have been mediating and getting this worked out before it escalated. Friends nurture and help, we accept each other. I have accepted her as is from the beginning. She is a hot mess everywhere and at any occasion slurring her words and screaming, and I take her the way she is because I love her. I accept John the way he is since I first met him, because he is a good person, but you cannot take him everywhere. But certainly Dorinda can have me at her private home in the Berkshires with my friends who know me very well and have traveled all over the world with me with no problem. Spiritual gangster my ass.

Regarding who does drugs, drinks too much at parties, is an alcoholic, speaks inappropriately when not drinking, sleeps with married men or just for sex and not working towards marriage (aka friends with benefits/lovers), is the best in business, just enjoys their business, or has no business to really speak of, I don’t care. I just want to have a greeeeeaaat tiiiiiime with my friends and support their dreams and introduce them to good people. However, I hate a liar. Be mad at me and confused about your feelings and a downright bitch, but speak your truth. Don’t manipulate the facts and be a hypocrite, because it always comes out in the wash. Nobody defended Dorinda regarding drug use and they party with her allllll the tiiiiiiime. 

It is true Lu is the gift that keeps giving. She saves face and always behaves perfectly. Thats why I said she is the ambassador. But then she gets busted, like with the pirate on the phone, leaving the party with Harry, and now Tom with the girl. It's like she is hexed. It's her Achilles heel to be exposed contrary to her clean image she works so hard to portray. Ironically I portray the sassy, kooky one and always come out doing what I say I am doing.

I always said Luann is the Queen of CRAFT (Can't remember a fracking thing), including how to spell Bethenny or how to pronounce my name SAWNYA. We may never know who came up with the name Skinnygirl. I do remember someone telling me there was a forward thanking Lu, because Heather said Bethenny should buy her a car. I have definitely learned Bethenny is very sensitive about her business, and it is understandable. She has come so far and is working her skinny tail off to stay there. She does take her biz personally as much as she may care about another women’s success or survival. I get it. Still I resent that my friends were not helpful in getting us on the same page and understanding the hurt we both felt right away and instead created distance and furthered the rumors when at first blush they all said that Bethenny wouldn’t care and that my little venture was a drop in the bucket compared to her empire. Again, no balls these girls, except Lu, who stuck up for my feelings and lack of understanding B's. More coming up Reunion 2/3.

Why is Dorinda describing the occasion? We know she does this holiday get together every year and had us last year to show off the Christmas decor. We had a huge fight last year between Bethenny and Heather. Remember?

I don’t agree with slut shaming. I think women should be able to sleep with who they want and not be judged. However, I think Bethenny’s point was that Luann had not admitted to having guys because of the pirate and Harry. But…I saw Luann admitting to a change in Turks last season and then opening up a lot at my house when we were roommates. So I didn’t really find her duplicitous in this case and time, except for the fact it was with my guy. Unless she didn’t know, as she said til after the fact. Tom knew, though. And he knew when he asked out my friend Ramona and told me they were just friends after I found out. (Just to to find out from Ramona they were more?) Friends are honest with each other. Lu said she never slept with the pirate and Harry, and you can never believe the guys. I hope Bethenny finds happiness with this current guy. She looks a bit smitten, and definitely Luann is head over heels or why else?  Tom better fly straight and make my girl Lu happy after all she’s been through. And the mixed emotions I’ve been through! No one would have ever known about us beyond our friendship had he fished in another hole.
