Sonja Morgan Is Getting into the Shoe Biz
The RHONY fashionista designed a line of chic flats — and they're so "Upper East Side."
We’ve seen her chic sportswear and formal designs, and have sipped on her Tipsy Girl bubbly ... but now, Sonja Morgan is ready to dip her toes into footwear. (Quite literally.) The Real Housewives Of New York City entrepreneur is launching a brand new business venture — and this time she’s teamed up with NYC-based shoe brand French Sole.
The stylish Upper Eastsider designed an eight-piece capsule collection for the shoe company, and this was no random pairing. Sonja has been a longtime fan of its comfy flats.
"I've always lived on the Upper East Side and French Sole is an Upper East Side brand," she told PeopleStyle. "I walk everywhere and of course I pass by the store and drop in. It's just something that I do — it’s a part of my life and I try on shoes. And my daughter has worn them since she was 9 years old."
The collection, titled French Sole by Sonja Morgan, will include a variety of ballet flats and loafers with an added bit of Sonja-flair. And you've probably already seen them. The NYC designer has sneakily been dropping peeks of her latest designs on social media.

Well, she’s actually wearing a pair from the collection. The cute pair of red loafers she’s oh-so-casually posing in is the "Maison," which also comes in black.
