Luann de Lesseps Reveals the Two-Week Getaway That "Literally Saved My Life"
The Real Housewives of New York City pal found exactly what she needed to stay grounded and healthy.
ICYMI, The Real Housewives of New York City's Luann de Lesseps has a lot going on right now. Between a heartbreaking divorce, a looming court date in Florida following her December 24 arrest, a hit cabaret show, and a brand new season of RHONY, the former countess is sneaking in moments of zen whenever she can, she told Jet Set in a recent interview.
"Yoga literally saved my life," she said, "When my first marriage was over, I discovered Deepak Chopra. I checked in [at The Chopra Center] for two weeks, and they saved my life. I was a mess! This time around, I checked into Kripalu [Center for Yoga and Health]. I actually brought Sonja [Morgan] with me."
The duo shared snaps of their relaxing stay on Instagram with Morgan calling the Stockbridge, Massachusetts center "one of my favorite places to regroup and start again."
"Yoga really keeps me centered, grounded, and breathing," de Lesseps told us. "You know, when we get that out of control, we just have to remember to breathe, but we forget. So yoga's just been a big part of my life, and I love it."
Outside of the retreat setting — which de Lesseps says she favors over trips to the Hamptons — you'll find the RHONY pal practicing alongside Rodney Yee at Yoga Shanti in Sag Harbor. According to her, the instructor is among the "best yoga teachers in the whole universe."
If that doesn't inspire you to grab a mat and start breathing, we don't know what will.
