Kathy Wakile Reveals Intimate Details of Her Fitness Journey: "No More Excuses"
The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum is helping fans kick excuses — not to mention ice cream and cocktails.
Kathy Wakile is a fabulous mom, a talented cook, and our new favorite motivational speaker to boot! The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum has been on a fitness kick, and on her latest Instagram Story she described how she stays motivated — and avoids overdoing it on ice cream — in the most relatable way.
While taking a brisk walk, Kathy told fans: "A lot of you have been asking what have I been doing to lose weight and keep fit? Well, if you've been following my [SprintSet] journey, I've been doing live stories about it. But the real truth is, you have to set yourself up for success for life."

She then went on to share an inspiring story about how a minor car accident that incurred no injuries set her into a mini rut earlier in the week. "I used the car accident as an excuse," she said. "No more excuses, no more woe is me, no more 'I needed a little comfort from the ice cream that I scooped out for everyone else in the family.'"
She continued, "I know you're all with me on this... you've used those stupid excuses to let yourself fall back into those unhealthy habits and ways of life that aren't good. Like you had maybe one too many drinks or too much ice cream. Don't be extra: Be extra great, extra special, and extra healthy. Use this as an excuse to take care of you. Use you: You are the excuse to get out there and make today a great day."
So, less ice cream, fewer cocktails, and more good attitude? Sounds like a worthy diet plan. But of course, like everything, moderation is key — and Kathy will forever appreciate her favorite Italian soul food, which she's always cooking up for her restaurant Pizza Love.
