This Is the Genius Way Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave Tackles Summer Snack Cravings Without Feeling Gross
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills accountability coach has some no-bake tricks worth stealing.
Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave makes sure that her family eats clean and healthy food, even though she is admittedly not that much of a cook. How is that possible? The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom, who is also an accountability coach by trade, utilizes meal prep services like Gracefully Fed, which makes organic, gluten free and dairy free soups, and Macro Plate, which her husband Edwin Arroyave loves. She also makes a lot of raw snacks that are designed to target the cravings for junk food that she still has from time to time.
"Sounds crazy, but I cut up peppers and cucumbers and put a little lemon juice on there," she told The Feast at the soft opening of Tom Tom, a summer party held with DailyMail.com and DailyMailTV. "And then, when I'm wanting chips or one of my old bad habits, it kinda gives me that little crunchy, spicy [fix]."
She also loves cotton candy grapes in season.
"When they come out, I buy them in droves, I put them in the freezer and use them as my dessert."
Teddi is smart to hone in on satiating her textural cravings with healthy snacks without giving in to junk food. And if you don't know about the incredibly delicious variety known as cotton candy grapes... well, now you know.
