Kyle Richards Doesn’t Love This Part of Her Dream Kitchen: “No One's Going to Feel Sorry For Me”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom fully realizes it's a first-world problem.
We recently brought you intel on exactly what Kyle Richards eats in a day — and now we have more on the place where she makes the magic happen. The Feast chatted with Kyle at a panel discussion to promote her new show American Woman, held at Los Angeles' Larchmont location of the spinning studio Flywheel, and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom gave us the scoop on her kitchen.
First off, the facts: Yes, it's a stunning and enormous room — the stuff of kitchen fantasies. (Catch a glimpse of it here.)
"I love the color of the marble and the paint," Kyle told us. "I like the size of it — I love the big center island." But even in spite of apparent dream-home perfection, Kyle would change at least one thing about the room.
"What I don’t like is how high the cabinets are. I literally can’t reach anything!" she said. "Whoever built that situation was a giant. I have a ladder to get to even just the spices and the cereal. Really annoying!"
And yes, Kyle acknowledged that it's not the worst problem to have; "I mean, no one’s going to feel sorry for me in that kitchen, I realize that. But I have to tell you, if someone moves [the ladder], you’re scrambling — like forget it, I don’t need to eat!"
