Eileen Davidson's Husband Had Something to Do With That Crazy Amsterdam Moment
While we were focused on what Harry Hamlin did or didn't do, we completely missed this.
Of all the wine tosses that have taken place on Bravo's shows (and trust us, there have been a few), the one that is most memorable—and quotable—is the one that took place during that Amsterdam trip on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. During an interview with the Daily Dish podcast, Eileen Davidson revealed a hilarious detail about that dramatic moment.
"I'm sitting at dinner and [Kim Richards says,] 'You're a beast!' And I'm like 'OK...' What am I supposed to do with that? And I think I said, 'How dare you,' which is actually a Van Patten-ism. I got it from my husband, who will actually say that if we're in an argument. 'How dare you.' So dramatic. And his mother says it. And I don't know how, it just seeped through my conciosness, and I said 'How dare you.'"
After that particular episode of Season 5 aired, fans wondered if soap opera life was rubbing off on The Young and the Restless star, but Eileen insists, "It's not a soap opera thing, it's actually a Van Patten thing."
