Lisa Rinna: Shame on Me
Lisa R. thinks there was a little too much judgment happening in the Hamptons.
Let’s start this week’s blog with a riddle.
Question: What happens when you take a handful of housewives out of Beverly Hills and put them in the Hamptons?
Answer: They turn into a bunch of ridiculous, judgmental bitches. LOL!
I mean, c’mon. This episode was a bit much with the judgments and interrogations and unsolicited advice, don’t you think? Hello. How does someone who has posed not only once but TWICE for Playboy have any right to pass judgment on Erika’s career? Shame on me for even going there. When I was told I was going to meet her, I did what anyone would do... I googled her! While I was definitely surprised by what I found at first, I have to say, I became an Erika Jayne fan as soon as I met her. So much so, that I cringed just now watching my reaction to Erika before I met her. Erika is fabulous. I know it. She knows it. And now the world knows it!
Well, maybe Bethenny doesn’t know it yet, because she definitely came on pretty strong with Erika that first night. In my opinion, offering unsolicited advice is usually not a great idea. Trust me on this one. I know why Bethenny does it. I absolutely get it. She and I are very similar when it comes to honesty and feeling compelled to give our true opinions, even when it’s at the expense of not being the popular opinion in a group. But sometimes Karma can be a bitch and rip your pants wide open when you’re being bitchy! That was hilarious and probably the only part of the evening that I’m sorry I missed!
The other situation going down between Eileen and LVP was also uncomfortable to watch. It was made quite clear to me last year that Eileen doesn’t feel comfortable talking about the early days of her and Vince’s relationship. Not to mention, Eileen was pretty forthcoming with the information she shared with us last season about it, so I can understand how being asked again this year could feel as if she’s being unnecessarily questioned.
So, Eileen asks for my advice on the situation. Clearly Dr. Rinna needs to keep her day job, because advising her to be upfront about her feelings with LVP without having expectations obviously isn’t going to bring a satisfying resolution to this particular situation. LVP’s response about their conversation being only between the two of them isn’t necessarily true, because we all know better than that, don’t we?
And off we go…
Until next time,
