Dorit Kemsley’s Holiday Home Decor Will Give You Major Inspo
Complete with a sparkle tree and life-sized doll, the RHOBH designer took festive decorating to envious levels.
‘Tis the season, and nobody’s getting in the holiday spirit more than Dorit Kemsley. In true Dorit fashion, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills designer took to Instagram to reveal how she’s dressing up her home for the holidays—and it’s complete with some over-the-top design elements giving us serious FOMO.
In the first of several Instagram photos, Dorit is seen posing in front of her tree, which is a dazzling delight of white lights and ornaments. Black and white accessories, sparkling globes, and mounds of tinsel cover the massive tree (which is even taller than Dorit herself!), while the base is covered in a gold sheet with sequins all over. Of course, Dorit is also dressed to the nines, in Givenchy heels and a little black dress. “Let there be light,” she writes in the post.
In fact, the tree even caught the attention of her BFF Boy George, who commented on the post, “Ground control to major tree!” No stranger to sensational holiday looks, Dorit recently turned heads in a sparkly blue look that had a sexy spin to it, complete with dramatic, crystal-flecked boots by Alexandre Vauthier. She made up the look with a rocker-chic smokey eye and nude lip, with a sheer top taking center stage. And of course, her holiday lights were seen glowing up in the background.
Another pic also shows Dorit’s two adorable children, Jagger and Phoenix, grinning in front of a life-size Nutcracker doll, complete with the red costume and black boots. “Who doesn’t love a nutcracker! #welovetodecorate,” reads the caption. And if you hadn’t ever considered putting a life-size doll in the center of your home, well… maybe it’s time to rethink that.
It’s been a busy year for Dorit: The bonafide fashion designer was already the brains behind a trendy beachwear line, Beverly Beach by Dorit, but just a few days ago, she announced an even bigger expansion… into athleisure. The stunning collection is now available at upscale designer store Kitson in LA, and even has its own window, so that it can really shine. After all that hard work, it’s no wonder Dorit is looking forward to some relaxing, festive fun with her family.
