Bella Hadid's "Naked Dress" Was Her Most Talked-About Look at Cannes
The #RHOBH daughter certainly turned heads with this look.
No surprise here: Bella Hadid is one of the best-dressed stars at the Cannes Film Festival. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills daughter already showed the world how to rock a leg slit and an ice cream cone. Then, she went ahead and upped the ante in a naked dress that's become one of the most talked-about looks of the fest.
For the star-studded Amfar gala, the beauty stepped out in a dress by Ralph & Russo that looked like little more than a light cobweb of silver sparkles. Not only was the look almost totally sheer; it had a leg slit that may be Bella's highest to date. (Though, to be fair, it wasn't quite as high as Chrissy Teigen's Yousef Akbar number at the American Music Awards.)
The British label put 38 petites mains (or seamstresses) to the task of embroidering Bella's custom gown. The beautifully detailed look had 13 kinds of embellishments, including silver chains that were stitched in by hand.
Bella paired the look with silver snake sandals by Rene Caovilla, which had straps that slithered around her ankles. To say that Bella sparkles in silver would be the understatement of the century.
