Marlo Hampton Proved Her Genius for Mixing Prints on Her New York City Trip
The Real Housewives of Atlanta beauty went big with colors and patterns for a weekend on the town.
Marlo Hampton has a fierce wardrobe that's bursting with color, designer labels, and bold style statements. (She even has a Web series that lets followers peek into her closet — and owns her own boutiques!) So, when the Atlanta beauty hit New York City, it's only natural that she'd showcase her brightest, most attention-grabbing threads.
On February 25, the fashion expert showed fans a behind-the-scenes peek at her trip to the East Coast. Along with fellow Real Housewives of Atlanta pals NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey, Marlo was in New York to catch Kandi Burruss in her Broadway debut as Mama Morton in Chicago.
"What can I say? ... [Kandi] did her thang last night," Marlo wrote. And, based on her eye-catching ensemble, it looks like Marlo did her thang as well.
As she noted in her "New York Style Diary," the trend-setter wore an Etro jacket that juxtaposed leopard print with Bohemian, textile-inspired patterns in the most genius way. (Peep her matching, leopard-print heels by Christian Louboutin.) She tossed in a shimmering, metallic shirt by Philip Lim, and wore fitted leather pants by Rag & Bone to cap it all off. For a little extra leopard print — because is too much ever enough? — she wore a patterned head scarf.
Somehow, Marlo managed to bring a little more pep and energy to the City That Never Sleeps.
