Pregnant Meghan Markle Flaunted Her Natural Mom Intuition With This Leftover Food Move
Royal mama-to-be Meghan Markle made some local New Zealand children very, very happy.
By now, the world knows it: Meghan Markle has a little one on the way with Prince Harry. And now that she has nothing to hide, the Duchess of Sussex is flying her maternal flag with pride. Just check out her latest classic-mom move:
While visiting New Zealand as part of her royal tour with husband Prince Harry (talk about a top-shelf babymoon!), Meghan had lunch at the local Maranui cafe. While there, the royal couple tucked into a spread of sweet treats — but couldn't quite manage to eat all the cakes with which they'd been presented. So, Meghan did the most motherly possible thing with their leftovers.
After noting upon leaving the beachside cafe that local schoolchildren had gathered outside, the Duchess rushed back inside to make a request: Could the leftover sweets be given to the waiting tots? The cafe complied and brought the cakes to the assembled cuties, who couldn't have looked any happier to have the treats.
After all, nothing brings kids more pleasure than sweets — and nothing makes parents happier than making excellent use of leftovers.
