Meghan Markle Wanted to Start a Lollipop Business Before Her Royal Relationship Changed Her Life
Before she began canoodling with Prince Harry, she was planning on another kind of sweet life.
The world is now squarely obsessed with Meghan Markle. (Perhaps you'd noticed?) As such, the soon-to-be-royal's endeavors prior to entering a relationship with fiancé Prince Harry are particularly intriguing to many. Like, for instance, her first wedding, a destination affair in Jamaica.
And then there's the fact that she wanted to start proprietary candy company two years ago. Yep, according to TMZ, Meghan's lollipop business, Lali, was once a thing.
Per the publication, she and a friend filed a trademark application for Lali back in 2012. They intended to sell "their own line of lollipops and drops," which sounds so adorable, does it not? Unfortunately, the idea never came to fruition, and by 2014, they had abandoned their app.
Now that the former Suits actress is moving to England and joining one of the most high-profile families in the world, maaaybe the lollipop concept can make a tasty return in some other modified form.
Royal merch, perhaps?
