Chrissy Teigen Plays Herself in the Best Way (and Sums Up Awards Season) in New McDonald's Commercial
It's just Chrissy being Chrissy — and we're cracking up over here.
Chrissy Teigen is not one to ignore cravings. In fact, the model wrote the book on Cravings. (Literally.) So, when the urge for Chicken McNuggets strikes, she's the first in line for the drive-through window.
The pregnant star has a well-documented love for McDonald's addictive eats, so it makes perfect sense that the fast-food giant tapped her to star in its latest commercial. It's also no surprise that the spot features Teigen being refreshingly real, relatable, and witty — because that is, after all, just how the stunner roles.
The ad is perfectly timed to the current awards season, and features our fries-loving heroine seated at a glitzy ceremony. Digging through her swag bag, Teigen tries to vain to come up with something to munch on. And when she comes up empty-handed, she heads straight for the Golden Arches.
Once she reaches her version of Mecca, Teigen orders up a little something to nosh on. You know: just five cheeseburgers and five McChickens from the new $1 $2 $3 Dollar menu. Ten sandwiches for $10 sounds like a sweet deal to us, and in the commercial Teigen treats all her pals to a little awards-show grub.
