Yolanda Hadid Drops This Last Reminder Of Her Relationship with David Foster
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum has some big news regarding her ex.
Bye, bye Foster. Yolanda Hadid has legally changed her name. According to TMZ, the former model has officially dropped Foster from her name, making her marriage to David Foster a distant memory. She reportedly filed to make the name change last month, and a judge signed off on her request on April 5.
Yolanda first announced her plans to drop the name Foster during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen back in February 2016, as you can see in the above clip. "I never dropped the name 'Hadid' because I have three children by that name, and I asked the kids, you know, 'Should I go back to 'van den Herik'? and they said, 'No, you're our mommy, and we have the same last name.'"
Yolanda and David announced their split in December 2015 after four years of marriage and nine years together as a couple in total. "Sadly we have decided to go our separate ways," the couple said in a joint statement to PEOPLE. "We've shared 9 beautiful and joyous years together. During that time we experienced love, friendship and the inevitable challenges that come with managing a marriage, careers, blended families and health issues."
Their divorce was finalized last October.
