Yolanda Hadid Celebrates Bella Hadid's Gigantic Modeling Honor
The #RHOBH #proudmom gushes about her model daughter's big achievement.
Yolanda Hadid's little girl, Bella Hadid, is officially one of the biggest models in the fashion industry. On Sunday, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills daughter was honored at the Daily Front Row’s second annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards by being named Model of the Year. Her win follows big sister, Gigi Hadid, who was previously given the same award in 2015. And, #Proudmom Yolanda couldn't help but gush about Bella's achievement on Instagram.
"Outer beauty attracts but inner beauty captivates........ It was captivating to watch my baby girl receive the 'MODEL OF THE YEAR' Award tonight- Thank you to @dailyfrontrow #FashionAwards for this extraordinary recognition amongst so many talented people," Yolanda wrote.
Bella was joined by Gigi at the event, as well as her boyfriend The Weeknd, brother (and up-and-coming model himself) Anwar, dad Mohamed Hadid, and, of course, mama Yolanda.
While accepting the award, Bella shouted out her sister. “I was here last year with no makeup on, supporting my sister as her little sister,” the 19-year-old said, according to Yahoo! “It’s crazy to be here a year later winning this award, because I worked really hard this year, but I didn’t think I’d be sitting in front of you. You guys are really scary right now. I might pee my pants … but I’m not wearing pants.”
After the show, Bella took to Instagram to open up further about the accolade. "Thank you for giving me my award @itsjeremyscott and giving me this beautiful dress to wear @moschino ... @dailyfrontrow Love you @annemarieleonie @jonathan_bender @imgmodels @ivanmbart. Thank you so much to @dailyfrontrow for honoring me as Model Of the Year this year...I feel so lucky to call this my job. Thank you to all of you for supporting me...I [heart] You."
