Kenya Moore Explains Her Husband Marc Daly's Desire for Privacy
Is The Real Housewives of Atlanta husband camera-shy?
Everyone knows that Kenya Moore lives her Gone with the Wind fabulous life out loud. But The Real Housewives of Atlanta entrepreneur has taken a different approach when it comes to her marriage to Marc Daly.
Kenya has decided to keep much of her personal life private this season of RHOA. She won't even say her husband's name around her fellow Georgia Peaches. This has, of course, inspired a lot of chatter among the RHOA ladies and fans alike.
In particular, many have questioned why Kenya's hubby hasn't appeared on RHOA yet this season. Kenya explained her husband's absence during a recent interview with The Daily Dish. "I don't think that he's camera-shy. He's not camera-shy; he just doesn't seek the spotlight. Those are two different things," she said (clip above). "You know, he's an investment banker, former investment banker for many years, and they were always taught to be in the background, and their clients were the stars, and it was all about making the deals, and they were just a part of making those things happen. So he supports me in everything that I do in his way."
Kenya admitted that Marc's overnight fame has been "a lot to deal with" after the two wed in June, especially when you're inundated with both positive and negative comments from virtually anyone with access to social media. "It's a mixed bag, and it's a lot for someone who's always been in the background to now be in the foreground, it takes some time to get used to. But I think now I can say we are definitely more adjusted now in how to deal with things, just within our family and them getting used to it as well," Kenya shared. "And all I had to say really was it will get better in time because time will give you more opportunity to learn how to deal with it. And I think he's in a really good place now. I think we're really good right now."
No matter what, Kenya can always count on her bestie Cynthia Bailey to be there to clap back at the haters. See what we mean, below.
