Why Is Claudia Jordan Defending Amber Rose?
The Atlanta housewife shows support for the social media's sexy image.
Amber Rose has found an ally in Real Housewives of Atlanta star Claudia Jordan.
After the social media star posted a photo on Instagram calling out commenters for "slut shaming" her for sharing racy snaps to the site, Claudia took to Twitter to show support for Amber.
"I think Ambers brand is SEXINESS so it's a little different," Claudia wrote. "Thats how she makes her money. She's a sex symbol. A 2015 urban Marilyn Monroe."
"I personally like Amber Rose," she added. "Met her, worked with her and Wiz on a film and she was a sweet girl that just wants to be happy & work."
Claudia further commented on Amber's statement, likening her public image to that of one-time pal, Kim Kardashian's own brand.
"But I also think in America we tend to be the biggest hypocrites and engage in double standards so damn much when it comes to sexuality," she wrote. "If you guys are gonna let Kim live then dammit let Amber live. Just keep it fair people. Make up yo minds. Damn these double standards."
While Amber has yet to respond to Claudia's defense of her, the Atlanta housewife did share how differently sexuality is viewed elsewhere in the world.
"When I visit my fam in Italy the culture is so different-they TALK about sex and they don't try to shield people from something so natural," she explained. "and in turn-since it's no so TABOO-it's not such a big deal to run out there and sneak and do too much. Sexuality isn't EVIL people. SMH."
