Why Does Katie Maloney Already Have "Goosebumps" About Her Wedding?
The #PumpRules bride-to-be and Tom Schwartz are definitely feeling excited to walk down the aisle.
Their wedding day is almost here and one thing's for sure: Katie Maloney can't wait for everyone to see her wedding dress.
"My dress, when I put it on, I got goosebumps and I knew that was the dress I was going to marry him in and it had all the elements that I really, really wanted," the Vanderpump Rules bride-to-be told E! News Monday. "I felt myself in it. I tried on some other dresses that were a little too bridal for me and then I put this on. For me, it's unique and it's different and it's very me." In preparation for the big day, dress shopping was one of Katie's biggest highlights. "I really enjoyed sharing the moments with my bridesmaids and picking out the dresses and going through that whole process. That was fun. It felt like a lot of the pressure was off of me even though the final decision was still mine." And we know something else is for sure: she recently told us that her bouquet will also be unique. She's chosen to walk down the aisle with a brooch bouquet.
Future husband Tom Schwartz will be wearing a custom-made tux when the couple says "I do" in front of family and friends in Northern California. And Tom couldn't stop gushing about the locale. "The thing I'm excited about most in regards to the wedding is the venue. It's picturesque. We wanted to be secluded and in the woods and we are just that. It's so pretty," he said. "Our theme is woodsey-elegance and the thing I'm most, most excited about is that we get to have so many of our close family and friends there. I know its cheesy a little. It just makes it that much more special."
The couple has certainly had a roller coaster of emotions leading up to the wedding day. "I'm mostly excited and just ready to be there. My nerves will probably kick in maybe the morning of as I'm getting ready and all that but good nerves," Katie said. Tom added, "I think I've experienced every emotion on the spectrum of pre-wedding emotions. Highs and lows. I've gone through the phase where there was doubts, not serious doubts, typical pre-wedding jitters stuff. It's very real."
