Who Is New Jersey Newbie Dolores Catania? She's Got Teresa's Seal of Approval
Get to know the #RHONJ rookie a little better.
There are a couple of new ladies entering the fray on the upcoming seventh season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. One of those pals is Dolores Catania, a longtime friend of Teresa Giudice and returning N.J. 'Wife Jaqueline Laurita. And like her besties, she's a devoted mom who puts her friends and family first. That does kind of feel like the Jersey way. With RHONJ slated to return on July 10 at 8/7c, get to know Dolores a little better.
1. She's a Proud Mama
No matter how old they get, Dolores' daughter and son, Gabrielle (20) and Frankie (17), will always be her babies. And while she may have divorced their father, Frank, 15 years ago, the former couple remains friends and business partners. "Of all the things I will ever do in my life, they will always be my greatest accomplishment and the center of my world. I'm so proud of them!" she wrote of her children.
2. She's Also a Beaming Aunt
3. She Loves Animals
"Whoever said diamonds are a girl's best friend, never had a dog...For all of you who know me, you know that I have a heart for animals," she shared on Instagram about her love of her pets.
4. She Supports Her Friends' Endeavors
She uses her social media voice to shine a light on all the stuff her friends are up to, including Jacqueline Laurita's upcoming book. Because that's what friends are for.
5. She's Got Her Pals' Backs
"Dolores and I are cut from the same cloth," Teresa says in the RHONJ Season 7 trailer, which you can watch above. "We're true Italians. We'll stick with you until the end."
6. She's Single and Ready to Mingle
This mom is looking for love and Teresa wants her to find her special someone. "This time next year, you will be with the man of your dreams," she tells her in the Season 7 trailer.
7. She's Spiritual
She often posts inspiring messages and even waxed poetic about modern society. "I want to tell everyone look up from your phone and take in the beauty of life we are missing so much!" she shared. "God sends us signs all the time and it's not going to be in a text or a snapchat #justlookup#beinthemoment."
Below get Teresa's thoughts on Dolores and fellow newbie, Siggy Flicker.
