What's Up With Apollo's New Fitness Business?
The 'RHOA' star shares details of his latest venture.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Apollo Nida may be serving his 8-year-sentence for fraud and identity theft, but his social media accounts are still active and showing new developments in his business life.
Apollo recently started posting about the Nida Fitness 4% Movement, which seeks to motivate people to work out by pointing out that exercising one hour daily is equivalent to only 4% of time in a day. Apollo's new website, itsonly4percent.com, sells exclusive waterproof USB wristbands with the "It's only 4%" tagline emblazoned on them.
Apollo has been posting about his new Nida Fitness venture for about a month now. Judging by the videos and photos on his site, it's been in the works since before he began his sentence. He recently wrote on Instagram that "It is time to start preparing for 2015. Fitness will bring clarity." Of course, this isn't the first time that Apollo is dipping his toes into the fitness business. He famously started Phine Body and released a series of booty workout DVDs with estranged wife, Phaedra Parks.
As for his marriage, Apollo recently revealed to In Touch Weekly that he speaks to Phaedra regularly on the phone from prison and that their relationship is now "cordial." "I'm hopeful that we can stick things out," he confessed, though Phaedra later released a statement saying that "the divorce is proceeding as planned."
