What *Really* Happened Between Sonja Morgan and Luann de Lesseps' Fiancé?

The debate around Thomas D'Agostino and his life "before Lu" rages on. While there's no doubt that these days he enjoys spending his time with Luann de Lesseps, his romantic entanglements before he popped the question earlier this year have led to a lot of debate, even as the ladies toasted their engagement on Wednesday's episode of The Real Housewives of New York City. Thomas attempted to clear the air about his relationships with Sonja Morgan and Ramona Singer in an interview with E! News earlier this week, and now Sonja is also weighing in on her famous reveal that they were "friends with benefits" at some point in the past. 

"He always had a girlfriend and I always had a boyfriend, so it was in between, as adults do at our age, you know. We're both in our 50s, so it's like…it is what it is. But it was a nice understanding, very discreet. I mean, we were seen out in public. Our friends kind of [knew] what's going on, but it's different from what she has," Sonja told E! News. "They're soulmates. They're getting married."

And Luann is handling that revelation just fine, Sonja noted. "I set the precedent before on the show…no man's gonna come between me and Luann. It was pretty crazy. Like she says, before Lu, she doesn't care, either. So we get along just fine. I want her happiness."

As for Thomas' history with two Housewives and his future with a third, well, Sonja, was shocked by how many of the Big Apple ladies he's been connected to. "I was very surprised to hear that he had dated Ramona. I didn't want to see him anymore when I had heard that, but then he said they were just friends. Next I hear, he's dating Luann. I'm like, "Oh my gosh, this is really crazy. Does he have a thing for Housewives?'"
