A big congrats goes out to Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson: she's been honored with a huge achievement in the OC.
Vicki was given Orange County's Entrepreneur of The Year Award last week. And, naturally, she couldn't be more thrilled about being honored by the place she calls home.
Vicki runs the Coto Insurance & Financial Services, Inc., and was honored for her work with the agency. "I was awarded for Orange County's Entrepreneur of The Year based on my success in the insurance industry," said Vicki, who party started her agency after her late father was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. "Hard work does pay off."
Vicki received the award with family by her side—and her boyfriend Brooks Ayers."I was fortunate to have my son and Brooks there to support me," she said.
The honor comes just a month after she shared the news that her mother had passed away "unexpectedly" and "suddenly" at her home.
"My amazing, beautiful and strong mother passed on and is now with the love of her life my father in heaven," she said in a Facebook post last month. "I am who I am today, because of her. An amazing cook, organized, bold personality and had a sense of style and fashion that I adored. I miss you so much mommy! My life will never be the same without you to give me advice and your wisdom. You were so healthy and so vibrant and so beautiful. I still need you. I love you MOM."
