By Jordan Upmalis

One of the most devastating and raw moments in the history of the Real Housewives of Orange County (and Bravo programming as a whole) occurred earlier this season, when Vicki Gunvalson received the terrible new that her mother had passed awayOn the Monday (August 10) episode of Watch What Happens Live, Vicki opened up about how things have been for her and her family since that heartbreaking day. “[My mom's] house just sold two weeks ago, so we settled her estate,” she explained. “It was the last, final thing we had to do which was really hard.”

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County on Thursdays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

The OG of the OC also explained what it was like to watch the episode and relive the moment. “I think 'cause I blacked out there and it was a part of my life that I felt I’d kind of see her come back through that episode and I didn’t,” she said. “It’s been a really big void in our family. Briana’s really close to my mom. It’s just been really hard on all of us. It's been really, really hard. Harder than I would have ever imagined it to be.”

Luckily Jeff Lewis was also a guest, and Flipping Out's secret softie quickly got everyone on-set to woop it up in honor of Vicki’s mom.

Gone, but never forgotten. Check out the tribute to Vicki's mom below.
