One of Stassi Schroeder's Southern Charm Pals Has Some Thoughts on Her Boyfriend Beau Clark

Stassi Schroeder's boyfriend Beau Clark has everyone talking — even outside of Los Angeles. 

The Daily Dish recently caught up with Southern Charm's Danni Baird, who also happens to be good friends with Stassi. Since Danni joined Stassi on a little getaway to Mexico following their respective breakups last year, we just had to ask what it's like to see the Vanderpump Rules event planner so happy with a new special someone in her life. "I'm very, very excited to meet him because from what I hear and from what I see, I think they're gonna be very, very conducive and compatible for the long-term," Danni told The Daily Dish this spring. "I'm happy for her. She deserves it." 

It's not like Danni wasn't supportive of Stassi's past relationship with Patrick Meagher. "I had met Patrick, and I really liked him. I thought they were really cute together," Danni said. "And then all of a sudden, two weeks later, she's single. I'm like, what?"

But Danni has noticed something different about Stassi in her new relationship with Beau. "I have never seen her so comfortable, and she's just herself with him. And I haven't even met him yet, but just from her Insta Stories and what she says, I mean, she's just so comfortable with him," Danni shared. "And that's a testament to truly being in love with somebody and a long-term partner, so I'm very happy for her."

That single girls' trip to Mexico with Stassi and their friend Rachael O'Brien last August was just what Danni herself needed. At the time, she had just broken up with her fiancé, Todd Baldree, reportedly only about two weeks before they were supposed to be getting married. "[In] Mexico, we were just doing everything we could to get our minds off of men. Thank God we had each other because it was basically one of the nicest honeymoon resorts I can imagine. So every time we'd go to dinner, somebody would get upset because it was just so romantic and it was candlelit," Danni recalled. "But no, we had each other, and we had a lot of fun."

Stassi previously shared with The Daily Dish in January how the trip, which she was originally supposed to take with her ex-boyfriend Patrick, helped her feel empowered after her breakup (clip below). "Well, I feel like I did the best with the cards that I was dealt. I was not about to not go on that trip. I'm not gonna let a man keep me from doing what is actually gonna make me happy," she said. "I wasn't about to go sit in my apartment by myself and cry. I was gonna sit in Mexico with my girlfriends and cry."
