Lala Kent Reveals How She Really Feels About Kristen Doute
The #PumpRules newbie doesn't hold back when sharing her thoughts on her castmates.
Lala Kent may be the new kid on the block, but she's already made a splash on Vanderpump Rules. We're only a few episodes into Season 4, and already Lala has been involved in some drama with her new colleagues. Well, that drama might just continue off-screen as Lala just threw some shade at Kristen Doute, with whom this season's trailer has teased a major altercation. "Pshhhh NEXT! … I have no feelings toward her," Lala said during a recent interview with Heavy after being asked about the upcoming interaction. "She is just there, breathing my air."
Lala, of course, hasn't gotten off to a great start with Katie Maloney either since she lied about traveling to Italy for a "modeling gig." "Stupid thing to say," Lala told Heavy. "American models are brought to Europe all the time for bookings. Obviously she wouldn’t know that."
Things between Lala and Scheana Shay didn't initially go great either, as Scheana asked what Lala had to do in return for a free trip to Italy. But looking back on this, Lala doesn't seem to have any hard feelings. "Watching it now, it gives me a good laugh. I wish I could be one of those girls, that does sexual favors for cool sh**. I’d be iced up, driving a Rolls Royce. Sadly, I can only hook up with people I am fully interested in, and those dudes are usually broke," Lala said. "But, just so everyone knows, if I’m keeping my legs closed, then I am most definitely keeping my mouth closed."
It hasn't been all bad blood between Lala and the other SURvers, though. In fact, in addition to Scheana, Lala said said she has clicked with Ariana Madix, Tom Sandoval, and her fellow newbie Faith Stowers, and grown close to James Kennedy. "He is someone I care about, deeply," Lala told Heavy. "No matter what goes down, we will always be friends. Our personalities just mesh."
As for Monday night's heartbreaking episode of Vanderpump Rules where Scheana opened up about her husband Mike Shay's substance abuse, Lala said she is hoping for the best for the couple. "I take marriage seriously. My parents have been together for 35 years, through thick and thin. I haven’t ever been married, but I still hold that title sacred," Lala told Heavy. "Their marriage isn’t something I have any input on. I just hope everything works out and they stick together through all the ups and downs. I love them together."
So what do the SURvers think about Lala? See what Tom has to say about his new castmate in the clip, below.
