Fatima Ali Feels the Love from Her "Wonderful Top Chef Fam" During Her Cancer Battle

The Season 15 Cheftestant reveals she's been back in the hospital for the last couple of weeks.

Fatima Ali was feeling the love from her Top Chef crew over the weekend, sharing that she's also been in the hospital for the last two weeks as she continues to battle cancer. "My wonderful Top Chef fam sending some love my way. My heart is breaking not being able to cook with them," she shared on Instagram, alongside a message from the chefs who were attending Taste of the Nation Hartford. "It’s easy to feel alone and isolated after two weeks in the hospital. This just brightened up my day. #topchef #cheflife #bravotv #f---cancer."

How to Watch

Watch Top Chef on Bravo and next day on Peacock.

The event was attended by several of Fatima's Top Chef co-stars, including Joe Flamm, Tyler Anderson, Rogelio Garcia, Tu David Phu, and Christopher Scott.

One week ago, Fatima shared a photo from her hospital bed at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in NYC, rocking a fierce blonde 'do and a feisty message: "Street Fighter lewks. Just have to keep on ‘tekken’ even when there is sh-- all around ya. #lewks #blondeshavemorefun #nah."

Fatima has been battling Ewing's sarcoma, a type of bone and soft tissue cancer. Back in August, the Top Chef Season 15 Fan Favorite winner confirmed she had completed her last round of chemotherapy but was also suffering from some complications from the chemotherapy.

Throughout her journey with the disease, Fatima has felt the support from everyone her fellow Cheftestants  to host/judge Padma Lakshmi.

Watch Padma open up more about supporting Fatima during this difficult time during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in February, below.
