Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix Offer Some Major Updates on Jeremy Madix: "He's Really Talented"

Jeremy Madix didn't just save SUR from a fire this season on Vanderpump Rules, but he also became a member of the rumor mill when he went out on a date with hostess Billie Lee and some interesting comments were made about his demeanor and past behavior (clip above). Well, big sister Ariana Madix wasn't having it when some of the SURvers decided to speak ill of her sibling, and in light of everything that went down on Monday's episode, The Daily Dish asked Tom Sandoval more about Jeremy and whether or not viewers heard an accurate portrait of the Madix brother. 

"He's really talented. He's just a really chill, nice guy," he shared. "He's a really smart guy; he's really driven."

And, no, Tom was not surprised when he and Billie decided to give romance a try. "They've known each other for a little bit. They've always gotten along," he said. "Billie's cool as hell; Jeremy's cool as hell. He was just like 'Hey, why not? ... She's cool. Let's just go out and hang out; see what happens.'"

In addition to working at Lisa Vanderpump's West Hollywood eatery and hanging out with James Kennedy, Jeremy is also a photographer and dabbles in video editing ... who just so happens to be still cohabitating with his sister and her longtime love. "He still works at SUR and then he's doing a lot of photography and video editing," Ariana explained to us earlier this season about her younger brother. "And he's got a lot of friends and I never see him. He's in and out all the time. Well, [he] lives with us, but he's literally never home."

She added, "It's good to be busy and I want him to be busy and I want him to be pursuing all of these things that he's wanted to do. So I'm happy."

Sandoval is also totally chill with the living arrangement. "He's out and about all the time. He kind of comes and goes. He stays at friends' houses sometimes and then we travel as well, so he'll have the place to himself. But, yeah, the three of us in that apartment is [laughs]. It's like the halfway house like in [The] Shawshank Redemption [where on the wall it says] 'Brooks was here.' It's like a stop that everyone lives at when they first come to L.A." 

Tom Sandoval Comes to Jeremy's Defense

And Sandoval has a lot of love for Ariana's brother. "He's like my little brother. He works at SUR now, got him a job there. He does really well," he said. "He's busy with his photography and stuff like that, but he's just a really nice, chill guy."
