Kelly Dodd Reveals She and Vicki Gunvalson Are No Longer on Speaking Terms
Here's what's really going on in this RHOC friendship.
Vicki Gunvalson and Kelly Dodd became fast friends when Kelly joined The Real Housewives of Orange County in Season 11. Fast forward two seasons, and things have been tense between the ladies due to an alleged breach of girl code after it appeared that Vicki set up Kelly's ex Michael Dodd on a date.
In fact, it appears that this RHOC relationship is much more strained these days than we had initially thought. Kelly confirmed during a recent interview with ET that she and Vicki are not currently on speaking terms. “We don’t talk at all,” she said. “As a matter of fact, I went to Tamra [Judge]’s house for her birthday in September, and Tamra showed me the text [from Vicki], she’s like, ‘I’m not gonna be there if Kelly’s there.’”
Kelly explained that reliving all of the drama surrounding her ex-husband and his double dates with Vicki and her boyfriend Steve Lodge this season of RHOC has brought her friendship with Vicki back to that bad place. However, Kelly is optimistic that she and Vicki can one day get their friendship back on track. “It's always better to be friendly and cordial, you know?” she told ET. “It's harder to hold onto anger than to, like, release it. I've always had a great time with her. I mean, I'm hoping that, you know, we'll one day talk again.”
Unfortunately, Kelly and Vicki haven't been able to see eye-to-eye on much as this season of RHOC airs. The two have exchanged words about their respective relationships in the press, on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, and in their blogs on Bravotv.com.
