Ben McKenzie and Peter Gallagher Keep in Touch Because O.C. Friendships Never Die
The former small-screen SoCal bad boy reveals who he's still BFF with from the series.
It's been nearly a decade since The O.C. went off the air, and yet the fandom around the soapy teen drama remains just as fervent as the day the finale aired. And while the cast has certainly moved on to other projects in the years since, viewers still want to believe they're sharing laughs and good times together while hanging around an infinity pool. Well, now Ben McKenzie (the actor formerly known as Ryan Atwood on The O.C.) is revealing all.
"I do actually [speak to Peter Gallagher]. I saw Peter's daughter, Katherine, in a play on Broadway about six months ago, a year ago," he revealed on Watch What Happens Live on Wednesday. Sadly, he didn't further elaborate on the last time he chatted with Peter's small-screen son Seth Cohen (aka Adam Brody), but we certainly hope it was just as recently because let's face it, they had one of the greatest bromances that has ever existed on TV ever.
